Welcome to the A.M.S Conservation and Restoration Studio.

Over the years A.M.S has had the pleasure and satisfaction, of working on both European and British porcelain and pottery. The experience gained has enabled A.M.S to build up a wealth of knowledge in dealing with the work required on this group of ceramics.
Where necessary research is undertaken to obtain the correct information for true replication and authenticity for work commissioned.

A.M.S provides an expert service in all aspects of conservation and restoration, from small chips and colouring to complete rebuilds; casting and modelling of missing limbs; to complete restoration or conservation. All materials and techniques used by A.M.S are in keeping with Conservators “best practice”.

After each piece has been individually assessed, a full discussion with the client, ensures a complete understanding of the clients requirements, work needed and cost involved.
Should the client then wish to proceed the piece is photographed, and documented ready for work to commence.
